Welcome to Habitat for Humanity - House Party at The Pews! Join us for a fun-filled event at The Pews where we'll be raising funds and awareness for building homes for those in need. It's going to be a celebration of music, food, and community spirit!

Welcome to the First Thursdays Songwriter Showcase hosted by Lynn Miles! Join us at The Pews for a night filled with incredible music and talented artists. This in-person event is a great opportunity to discover new songs and connect with fellow music lovers. Don't miss out on this unforgettable evening of live music!
This month, Lynn is joined by Tara Holloway and Emma Lamontagne.
Born in Ottawa, growing up in Vancouver, Tara made her first album in LA titled Sins To Confess. She then signed with a Vancouver record label and made her second album, Little Ghosts, right here in Ottawa. She has had numerous songs placed in film and TV, including 6 songs in Sons Of Anarchy, two songs on DALLAS, and a feature song in the film From Prada To Nada. Tara is now settled in Ottawa with her cat who has asthma and is gearing up for a new single release, Fall 2025. This artist is a local treat you can really sink your teeth into!
Armed with an audio engineering degree and her own home studio, Emma is crafting the music she’s always wanted to make—organic, emotionally charged songs that sit somewhere between folk, pop, and personal diary. Her upcoming EP, set to be released throughout 2025, is supported by FACTOR, the Ontario Arts Council, and the City of Ottawa. The project showcases her most personal work yet, centered on themes of growth, love, and finding clarity through chaos.
